Hosting and server log files

When you visit these pages, the web server collects technically necessary data (IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser identification, status code). Processing is required to provide and secure the site (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Retention follows the hosting configuration, typically a few days to weeks, unless a security incident requires longer storage.

No cookies, no tracking

No cookies are set. There are no analytics, advertising or remarketing services. Fonts and images are hosted locally; no third-party font or image CDNs are called. Language is chosen via the URL, not via stored preferences.

Contact by email or phone

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the data you provide in order to handle the enquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR and, where applicable, Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Unencrypted email may have security gaps. Data is deleted when it is no longer required for the purpose, subject to statutory retention duties.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for us in particular the Hessian Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
